Downtown brewery/restaurant: One of the first Colorado full service dining brewpubs. The warm comfortable design was achieved with quarter sawn oak paneling, rich designer booth fabrics, custom craftsman light fixtures and color photography of natural red sandstone rock formations. There is a hint of Frank Lloyd Wright in design accents found in the leaded glass panels looking in the serving tank room behind the bar and booth mill work. This American Craftsman touch gave the space a sense of timelessness and period. The brew house set in the entry left no doubt that special custom beer was produced on the premises. A second bar in the rear was separated for a livelier guest experience with darts and pool tables and stage for live entertainment. Additionally, there was a private party room, which had the ability to open up and become additional space for general guest use. The covered patio on the pedestrian mall added a great deal to the brands outward energy and the large copper tank hanging in the two story glass enclosure clearly identified fresh beer was brewed here…
